White Tara (Tib: Dolkar)
Born from the tear of Avalokiteshvara, the buddha of compassion, White
Tara grants long life. Her three facial eyes represent the three doors to
liberation (the three emptinesses) and the other four on her palms and
soles symbolize the four immeasurables (love, compassion, joy and
equanimity).
