Lama Tsong Khapa Popularly known as Je Rinpoche (precious lord). He lived from 1357-1419 and became known as the great reformer and founder of the Gelug (virtuous tradition) school. His main emphasis was on the need for the proper training in sutric practice before progressing to the esoteric tantras. © Andy Weber 1986
