VAJRAPANI (Tib. Cherna Dorje) This embodiment represents all the Buddhas’ power and enlightened action, the intuitive ability of putting compassion and wisdom into effect, thereby bringing maximum benefit to all sentient beings. His right hand holds the vajra (Tib. Dorje), symbolic of spiritual awakening, while his left hand in the threatening gesture overcomes hindrances and obstacles on the path. © Andy Weber 1985
